What the Coolizi PureAir Pro is
The Coolizi PureAir Pro pulls air through two filter layers. The H13 HEPA layer traps particles — pollen, dust, dust-mite debris, pet dander and the visible fraction of smoke. The activated carbon layer adsorbs gases: odour molecules and VOCs off-gassing from furniture and paint, which HEPA media does not remove at all. At 5 W it moves a small volume of air, which is why the maker positions it for a desk rather than a room.
The two filter stages, separated
HEPA handles particles. The brand rates the media at 99.97% capture down to 0.3 microns. Read what that describes: the air passing through the filter, not the air in your room. Room-level results depend on airflow, room volume and how close you sit — and no airflow figure is published.
Carbon handles gases. Adsorption works until the carbon’s pore structure fills up, then it stops. That is exactly why the two-month replacement interval exists, and why the filter price matters more here than on most appliances.
The ion function is a third mechanism. Negative ions charge airborne particles so they clump and settle. The brand’s own copy uses the word “settles”, which is accurate: settled particles have left the air, but they have landed on your desk rather than been captured.

The two-pack does not save you anything
The two-pack is priced at exactly twice the single unit. $119.98 is 2 × $59.99, so the per-unit cost does not move at all between the first tier and the second. The savings label is arithmetically true against the reference price, but you are paying single-unit money for both. The discount ladder only starts at the three-pack — $20 more than the two-pack buys a third unit and drops the per-unit price by over thirteen dollars.
The checkout bills in US dollars. We do not convert to euros because the seller publishes no euro price — a converted figure would be invented. Also check the final total: no shipping charge was confirmed at any tier, and the four-pack is advertised at 65% when the arithmetic gives 64.6%.
Returns: the 30-day guarantee, and why it exists twice
This is the weakest part of the offer, and it is worth reading twice, because the brand describes it in two places that do not agree:
- The product page calls the guarantee unconditional, promises a full refund for any reason, and calls the process “no questions asked”.
- The checkout limits it to unused items, in original packaging, refunded or replaced less shipping and handling.
- Those are different offers. Anyone who runs the unit for a week to evaluate it has, by the checkout wording, used it.
- The Terms of Service twice name a separate Return Policy that the site never publishes — so the document the Terms say controls returns is the one a buyer cannot read.
- Not established anywhere: whether the 30 days run from order or delivery, who pays return postage, what return address applies, and how long refunds take. The published business addresses are in Hong Kong, which makes return postage a real question on a $59.99 item.
Who it fits — and who it does not
It fits if you want cleaner air in one spot you occupy for hours — a desk, a nightstand, a corner of a studio; if you value USB-C power and a tiny footprint over capacity; if you rent and cannot install anything; or if you have a pet in a small space and want the carbon stage.
Look elsewhere if you need documented room coverage, a published decibel rating, certification paperwork for a workplace or institutional purchase, a written warranty, or a known filter cost before committing.
